Privacy & Cookie Policy
This page explains how I handle your personal information when you get in touch, and how this website uses cookies. I like to keep things simple and transparent.
1. Privacy Notice
What information I collect and why
When you fill out the contact form on this website, you provide your name, email address, and details about your project. I collect this information for one purpose only: to read your message and reply to your enquiry.
How I store and use your details
When you submit a form, your details are sent directly to my business email inbox. I treat this exactly like a standard email conversation.
- I do not add your email address to any marketing lists or automated newsletter software.
- I will never sell, rent, or trade your personal information.
- I only share your details with the essential service providers that make communication possible (such as Squarespace, which hosts the form, and Google, which hosts my email).
How long I keep your information
I hold onto our email correspondence for as long as we are actively discussing a project or working together. If an enquiry does not lead to a working relationship, your emails simply remain in my inbox archive until my routine clear-outs, at which point they are deleted.
Your legal rights
Under UK data protection law, you have the right to know what information I hold about you, request a copy of it, or ask me to delete it entirely. If you would like me to permanently delete your contact details and our email threads, just let me know.
2. Cookie Policy
This website, chriscurry.co.uk, is operated by my company, Chris Curry Limited. This section explains how I use cookies and similar technologies, what they do, and how you can manage your choices.
What are cookies?
Cookies are small files stored on your computer, phone or other device when you visit a website. They can help a website work securely, remember your preferences and understand how visitors use it.
Similar technologies, such as browser storage and tracking tags, can perform related functions. References to cookies in this policy include these technologies where relevant.
How I use cookies
Essential cookies: These support functions needed to operate the website securely and provide services you request. They can also remember your cookie choices. My website is hosted on Squarespace. Its security cookies include crumb, which helps prevent unauthorised requests. Essential cookies do not require your consent, but you can block them through your browser. Doing so may affect the functions they support.
Analytics cookies: I use Squarespace Analytics and Google Analytics to understand how visitors find and use the website. This can include which pages they visit, the websites they arrive from and information about their browser or device. The information helps me assess content and improve the website. Analytics cookies can use identifiers to distinguish visits and recognise returning browsers. I ask for your consent before using these cookies.
Your cookie choices
You can use the cookie controls on this website to accept optional cookies, reject them or choose which categories to allow. Optional cookies covered by these controls remain off until you choose to accept them. Continuing to browse does not mean that you have consented.
You can review or withdraw your consent at any time using the Manage cookies control on this website.
Rejecting analytics cookies will not prevent you from reading my service pages, viewing case studies or contacting me.

Session cookies normally expire when your browsing session ends. Persistent cookies remain until their expiry date or until they are deleted.
